Unfortunately I didn't half the salt :( The cookies were still a hit with friends and family, even with the salty tang! Next time I will triple check my measurements since I didn't care for the salty aftertaste. The cookie dough is fabulous all by itself so, I used less chocolate chips, I actually cut them in half, but if you love chocolate, you can leave it the way it is.
